The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History is celebrating its 25th anniversary. In honor of its anniversary, the Institute is sharing an interactive timeline with highlights that include a video of founders Richard Gilder and Lewis E. Lehrman; a performance by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Chris Jackson; and a teacher seminar led by Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. Are you a teacher, student, administrator, scholar, or history buff who has benefited from or been involved in the Gilder Lehrman Institute? Be it through gaining new knowledge or finding new opportunities for professional development or personal growth, how has GLI been a part of your life? We would love to hear your story! We are gathering as many GLI tales as we can and then sharing them on gilderlehrman.org. Simply record and post up to a 30-second video on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #MyGLI25 and we’ll do the rest.
