The Civics Renewal Network brought four dozen students from across the nation to Washington, D.C., for a Constitution Day program. These middle and high school students used their civic skills and knowledge to improve their school or community. Accompanied by their teachers, the students participated in Constitution Day events organized by the network, including the nationwide Preamble Challenge led by the National Constitution Center. The highlight of the program was the students’ visits to the Capitol to present and discuss their projects with legislators from their state.
